Yogitoes Towel – Product Review
How Yogitoes towel works
The Yogitoes towel has designated top and bottom sides (dot-side down) to enable the users with good traction. The skid less technology of the towel helps to grip the mat well and prevents slipping irrespective of your movement or sweat. The smooth side of the towel sans the silicone nubs is to provide the Yogis a luxurious feeling on hands and feet. Made from recycled and proprietary microfiber material, the Yogitoes towel are environment-friendly and sustainable.
My thoughts on the Yogitoes towel
If you practice a lot of hot yoga, vinyasa yoga, sweat a lot when you practice, then this helps absorb your sweat and will prevent you from slipping and sliding on your mat – that makes it a huge advantage. However, if you feel that it’s costly and would want to curb your budget spending on a towel, then you might want to consider the Manduka Equa towel as there’s no big difference in performance between the Yogitoes and Manduka Equa.
What others think about Yogitoes towel
One of the customers who had tried many different yoga towels initially was hesitant due to the high cost of the mat, however, feels it’s worth it, as he doesn’t slip anymore during practice. Another customer quotes that with other regular towels, he would have to readjust the towel several times throughout the workouts, resulting in breaking him out of the rhythm of classes. However with the Yogitoes towel, even when forcefully attempting to move the towel, it holds up and keeps the spot on the mat. With cheaper towels, he’s noticed some rug burn on his skin, with Yogitoes towel, it’s never left any irritation on the skin.
- Skidless technology
- Available in multiple colors
- Pricey (From the reviews of others who have used it, looks like it’s worth the investment)
- Bleeds during few washes initially (2 or 3 washes)
If budget is not a constraint, I would recommend the Yogitoes towel, as with my own experience I realize that a quality product, though seems costly, works out reasonably well in the long run as against cheaper ones where you end up buying multiple times in the same time frame as one quality product. I hope you liked this review. In case you already use the Yogitoes towel and would like to leave your personal review or have any questions, would appreciate dropping your comment in the box below.
